The Privacy Professor Blog recently covered "Encryption: Myths and Musts." The five myths highlighted were:

1. Using SSL or HTTPS encrypts data everywhere.
2. Encryption is too expensive for SMBs.
3. Encryption is too hard to use.
4. By using encryption, we don’t need to use firewalls, anti-virus or other security tools.
5. Encryption must be deployed everywhere in an organization.

Click here for more details on each myth and two key lessons, including the security of data in transit.
