  1. Is Zix Corporation/PocketScript exiting the e-Prescribing business?
    DALLAS, Dec 08, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Zix Corporation (ZixCorp(R)), (Nasdaq: ZIXI), the leader in email encryption services, announced today its intent to wind down the Company’s e-Prescribing business in an orderly manner after it has fully satisfied all contractual commitments. During the wind-down process, which could take up to one year to conclude, ZixCorp intends to honor all existing contractual obligations to customers and others, while continuing to operate the technology and provide ongoing support.   2. What is the final day that the PocketScript service will be available?
    The PocketScript will be available to licensed users until 12/31/2010. All data requests must be requested no later than 11/15/2010

  3. Will my sponsoring Health Plan be offering an alternative for e-prescribing?
    Please contact your plan representative for this information.

  4. Do I need to return my PocketScript equipment when my license expires?
    No, the handheld devices and network equipment are yours to keep as part of your sponsorship from your health plan.

  5. My license is set to expire before 12/31/2010, can I renew?
    Yes. PocketScript will be renewing licenses throughout 2010 with a maximum license end date of 12/31/2010. A prorated charge for the license renewal will apply which will equal the number of months in the prorated renewal times $60 per month.

  6. Will I be able to get a copy of my patient information/patient script history?
    Yes. PocketScript customers have always been able to request that they be given a copy of their patient information/patient script history. There is a charge for PocketScript to pull and deliver the data. You will need to put in a request for the data at least 30 days in advance of your license end date (last date to request data is 11/15/2010) and once payment is received PocketScript will extract the data and send it to you. If you would like to place a request for your data please call PocketScript Support at (866)753-9234 or email your request to pssupport@zixcorp.com

  7. Will Zix Corporation offer end user support for the PocketScript service while you are winding down the business?
    Yes. Zix Corporation will continue to offer phone and email support to anyone with a valid license. You can contact PocketScript Support at (866)753-9234 or by emailing pssupport@zixcorp.com.

  8. I would like to add an additional prescriber to the PocketScript service, is that possible?
    Yes. If you have existing prescribers that have a valid PocketScript license then you will be able to add new prescribers on to your account up until June 1, 2010. The maximum license end date for any add-on prescriber is December 31, 2010. If you wish to add a prescriber to your account please call (800) 413-0579.

  9. I received an invoice from PocketScript, should I remit payment?
    Yes. PocketScript will continue to operate until 12/31/2010. In order to avoid interruptions to your service, you must keep your account up to date. If you have question about any charges please contact PocketScript using the telephone number listed on your invoice.
