ZixConnect^SM

ZixConnect is a managed Transport Layer Security (TLS) service that lets companies encrypt emails to send to multiple partners using a single TLS connection. For organizations that need to secure email communications with key business partners but are concerned about the long-term complexity of managing separate TLS connections, ZixConnect provides a way to connect to multiple partners through a single TLS connection.

ZixConnect is completely transparent to end-users. Users send and receive messages that are encrypted in transit; no passwords, hardware or software are required. Emails are maintained in plaintext within the corporate network, allowing archiving and retention policies to be enforced. ZixConnect is easy and fast to deploy with ZixCorp handling the set-up and maintenance of each secure connection through the ZixData Center.

ZixConnect can also be used by existing ZixGateway customers that need to use TLS with certain business partners but prefer not setting up and maintaining the TLS connection directly. ZixCorp works with the partners to set up TLS connections to the ZixData Center. Customers then send and receive emails through their ZixGateway appliance, and their partners send and receive email using TLS.
