Logging on to PocketScript
Open Internet Browser and enter
www.eprescriber.com in the address field.
TIP If your Browser displays warnings in the toolbar, the security
settings may be too high for convenient PocketScript usage. See Troubleshooting
for how to modify the settings.
Enter your User
ID and Password in the
appropriate fields, and then click Submit.
TIP Use the left mouse button in PocketScript.
Initial log in notes (A):
Your Login and a password are provided. You may change the provided password to one that you create. Your password is not case-sensitive and must comply with the following security requirements:
At least 8 characters in length
At least 1 of each of the following: letter, number, special character (?><,./;’:”[]\|}{+=_- *&^%$#@!)
Click Accept on the PocketScript End User License Agreement.
Click Accept on the Multum End User License Agreement.
Prescribers: Using your mouse, sign your name in the white area. Click Continue to proceed. If you are unsatisfied with your signature, click Clear and re-sign. (Non-prescribers do not see the signature screen.)
Initial log on notes (B):
In some states, the first time you log in
you may also be asked to write your initials, “Brand
Necessary,” “DAW
- Dispense as Written,” "No Substitution," or another phrase
to authorize pharmacists to dispense non-generic medications.
TIP When prescribing, be sure to clear the Generic checkbox on the
Script Summary page for the phrase to be added to your script.
If multiple
printers are available, select the printer for this session.
