Tufts Health Plan Dispensed Drug History
Dispensed Drug History (DDH) is now available to prescribers in PocketScript for Tufts Health Plan members.
Prescribers can view and refill up to 12 months of a member's prescription history but only with respect to prescriptions processed through the member's Tufts Health Plan Pharmacy benefit.
DDH does not include drugs used in the treatment of HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, OTC medications, or drugs paid for by the patient outside of Tufts Health Plan's benefit plans.
When DDH is available, a Show Dispensed check box will appear on the prescriber's Choose Drug screen. To display DDH, select the Show Dispensed option.
Non-prescribers do not view DDH, however, PocketScript checks DDH for drug-to-drug interaction and displays warnings to all users, regardless of prescribing status.
Express Scripts Inc. and Medco Health Mail Order Process
PocketScript now provides additional membership information on prescriptions sent to Express Scripts Inc. (ESI) and Medco Health. As a result, your practice will experience fewer eligibility verification calls from these companies.
